Are you developing technology that improves people's lives? With the Tech4People program, the Vienna Business Agency funds R&D projects that develop digital solutions with a clear focus on people – from eHealth to education to climate protection.
Research and development projects in Vienna that develop human-centered digital technologies. The approach is based on the principle of Digital Humanism: technology should serve people, not the other way around.
The funding areas include: Health & eHealth, Education, Media, Housing, Work, Security, Data Protection, Transport & Mobility, and Climate Protection.
Companies and founders with a registered office or place of business in Vienna – both SMEs and large enterprises. Joint applications together with universities, universities of applied sciences or associations are possible.
Eligible costs: personnel costs, external services, investments, materials and supplies, as well as construction measures.
The current submission period runs only until 31.05.2026. That means: submit by the end of May 2026!
Tech4People is one of the largest funding programs of the Vienna Business Agency. The combination of high funding amount, advance payment and broad range of topics makes it particularly attractive. The women's bonus and founder's bonus are nice extras on top.

Until now, our AI agent could already support you in writing your research premium applications. Now it goes one step further: from now on, it has access to the contents of the entire research year (expenses, time sheets, personnel data, etc.) and can give you direct feedback on them.
Why is this important? Time sheets and invoices are a central part of the submission. Errors or unclear assignments often lead to follow-up questions and delay payment.
This is exactly where the new feature comes in: you upload your documents and receive concrete feedback on what fits, what should be adjusted, and what the tax office pays particular attention to.
This not only saves you time during preparation, but also increases the chance that your application will go through on the first try.
